I don't think SharonB meant that we had to keep to just those colours, just be the main colour focus.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16874297.post-38486490190890492232008-02-28T01:05:00.000+11:002008-02-28T01:05:00.000+11:00Nice design. I will say that I agree with you about the dullness of the colors, although my monitor showed more of a rust/gold color that sparked it some, and the pink was more peach so I got the complementary contrast. However, I'm with you. I've become accumstomed to adding something for spark that is totally out of the range. But you could do that. Nothing says you HAVE to stay exactly with the colors.
I felt that way on the January piece and I added in some neon green for more life.
http://justenoughtime.wordpress.comDebhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14773735688134410769noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16874297.post-26544381895990916142008-02-27T05:46:00.000+11:002008-02-27T05:46:00.000+11:00Nice design & stitching. If you want a little 'punch' try a touch of bronze paint or foiling.Vivianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09437472779035290834noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16874297.post-64014538458875859742008-02-27T03:33:00.000+11:002008-02-27T03:33:00.000+11:00It's nice. If you are really not happy about it, you could try adding a tiny pink or orange bead to each of those blue dots!Grangryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16949099501135314987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16874297.post-35952130351729551352008-02-27T02:06:00.000+11:002008-02-27T02:06:00.000+11:00This is a lovely piece and I don't think it needs ...This is a lovely piece and I don't think it needs anything else!Vicki Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06929340703066037054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16874297.post-3775909870950020362008-02-26T22:24:00.000+11:002008-02-26T22:24:00.000+11:00I think the subdued color scheme works. In any case, you've made a very pleasing piece.Kayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05669924514599648160noreply@blogger.com
