Happy New Year to everyone. What a better way to start the year than with some goodies.
The bottom two lace bobbins are commemorative bobbins, beautifully hand painted, from an Australian lace internet group that I belong to. I've had them since before Christmas & have only just now had time to show them off. They still need spangling, something I must do soon as I am bursting at the seams to use them.
The top bobbin & the lapel pin are gifts from a visitor the we had from the USA to our small local lace group. L--- put the call out towards the end of last year to Australian lace-makers, made e-mail contact, & armed with directions, braved the public transport system to visit our small group. Shows how keen us lace makers are. We spent a wonderful afternoon with show & tell. & L---, if you are reading this, thank you so much for taking the time to visit.
