Reticella Piece Finished

I have finally finished my first piece of Reticella. I am rather proud of it. It has been something that I have wanted to do for a while and now can tick of my list. Will there be more? Definately! I have already bought some more fabric, now I just have to start designing. I have to be careful about the design though as I do want some fabric left. Now I just have to think what to do with this piece.

Oh Jenny! It looks wonderful, congratulations. I think it would look just wonderful framed on a black background with a complementary frame with a touch of blue. Avril A-deH has the name of a local specialised framer if you need someone. I'm very envious, what a credit to you. Is this one going in the October exhibition?
Hooroo,
Christine.

This is a beautiful piece of work. I have a few cotton pieces made by a grat Aunt but they are cloths that are solid in the middle with this round the edges I never knoew it had a name just classed it as embroidery, so I have learnt something. Thanks
